We are Boyd's Rewards card holders. We arrived a bit earlier than intended and enquired about checking in. We were told there would be an extra $60. charge for the 35 minutes, so we went to Hollywood ****** to gamble. We returned and checked in, went to the room, and it wasn't the king we had reserved they put us in a double bed room. Upon investigation, there was TP on the floor in the bathroom, fast food and a mess in the refrigerator, and a little black dress in the closet. I called the front desk and was told a king room wasn't available and they would send up housekeeping. I paid full price when I made my reservation afterwards I started getting emails about reduced hotel rates, which I was never able to book. We spent our time dining and ******** at Ameristar on our last evening we went to dinner for our daughter's birthday. We were at a restaurant on the Hill, I received a phone call (636-949-4300 at 7:52pm on 7/8) that they were going to tow our vehicle. My husband's truck had been parked in the oversized vehicle area with like sized trucks since we arrived. So we had to race back to Ameristar to try and avoid being towed. When we got back, the other like sized trucks were still parked there, and they were still there several hours later when we checked. Why were we singled out? My husband's truck has Illinois Veteran's license plates, and the other trucks were from Missouri. They had to know we were staying there since they called me. My husband moved his truck, and the antenna was hitting the inside of the parking structure as he moved very slowly and carefully to an open space. This trip, we gambled, dined at the supported Ameristar a great deal, but I don't feel our patronage was appreciated.
